10 Questions

So what did you think to the assignments?

How would you rate the assignments in terms of difficulty? Look at them both, and just tell me which ones were easy, which ones were harder. Or were they both easy or both hard? If so, can you give me an example of a subject you've learnt?
In terms of difficulty, the deadlines for some of the assignments were quite short but this did not affect the difficulty of the assignment.

For 3 in one gaming you did 2 games ... (so answer two out of the following three questions)

In the platform game, name one thing you learned during its development.
When developing the platform game, I learnt that everything couldn't be done by using the drag and drop feature in GameMaker, so I learnt how to code using the GML (GameMaker Language) to get the game to function correctly.

In the card game, name one thing you learned during this assignment.
In the card game, I learnt how to use scripts and use them appropriately when needed.

Right, here's a slightly off the wall one: did you learn anything during the experience? These assignments?
Yes, I learnt how to make games using GameMaker as well learning to use other software.

Do you think you gained any maths when you did any puzzles for the maze game?
N/A

How do you rate your maths? Give us a scale, are you good?
What GCSE grade have you got etc?
My maths is really good. I currently have an F in GCSE. If I resat my exam, I would comfortably get a C.

How hard did you find the maths during these assignments?
I didn't need to use maths as I did not create the maze game.

Do you think your opinions towards maths has changed?
My opinion towards maths hasn't changed as it is a useful subject to have knowledge on, especially when applying for a job in the industry that requires maths.
